W.W.S.A. DANCE
GATHERING IN MASONIC HALL. WINNERS OF COMPETITIONS. A most successful dance was held in the Alasonic Hall. Masterton, last evening under the auspices of the W.W.S.A. There was a large attendance, including a good assembly of Air Force members. All appeared to enjoy them1 selves thoroughly. Corporal Barrer and 2 1 C A. Whittaker were in [charge of the ticket selling and Serigeam Hintz and Corporal Wrigley were doorkeepers. Sergeant J. Fisher was M.C. and Miss McCord was in charge 01 the supper arrangements with her squad of canteen workers. Mrs A. Whittaker. O.C. in charge of the girls, saw that everything was in order, and that all enjoyed themselves. The lucky spot dance was won by Sergeant Tunnicliff, R.N.Z.A.F. and Miss Stewart, and the Monte Carlo by Miss Darcy and Mr R. Tepiri. An extra was played by Miss Pearl King, of Palmerston North. Sergeant Waireka Nini sang a solo, which was well received. A pkt in and fancy masquerade will be held on November 4. All will / ■ be welcome, and a gay time is assured.
