ALWAYS BY ROAD

GERMAN EVACUA'ixGN PLANS IN FRANCE. German military authorities in France have requested the French railway services to prepare a plan for evacuation of German troops from France, according’ to a Swedish newspaper. This is considered doubtful in French circles in London. It is well known that the Germans have their own plan prepared for such an eventuality. Withdrawal practice is frequent, but it is always by road. Alarms are sounded,, and all papers removed and troops loaded into lorries in a few minutes. The Germans iire well aware that the railways will be put out of order in a few hours when concerted action by patriots within and Allied forces begins.
