MODERN PLANES
HOW THEY ARE OPERATED. MOBILE UNIT TO VISIT MASTERTON. Considerable interest is being shown in the forthcoming visit to Masterton of the Mobile Instruction Unit of the R.N.Z.A.F. This will be the first occasion on which the public of this district will have the opportunity of closely examining the working parts of the modern bomber and fighter. Complete engines, worked by electric power, are sectionalised to show just hew all parts operate. A power gun turret will also be demonstrated, and the public is invited to operate the controls and see for itself the wonders of present day air combat machines, machines. The entire mobile unit will be located at a central spot in Masterton for two days. The visit is in furtherance of a recruiting campaign for the Air Training Corps.
