MASTERTON RACES
ACCEPTANCES CLOSE TONIGHT. The acceptances for the Masterton Racing Club's meeting at Opaki on Saturday, will close with the secretary, Mr. N. H. James, tonight, at 8 o’clock. The Opaki course was looking in grand order this morning and given fine weather, the meeting on Saturday should be a great success. Mr. Leo. George, of Hawera, has arrived with Mery Mint, Fort Royal and Killarney I Boy. L. H. Clifford, who has been en- ! gaged in riding at Auckland, is stated 'to be available for Saturday's meeting.
