COLUMBUS DAY

DANCE AT AMERICAN RED CROSS CLUB. There will be a Columbus Day dance at the American Red Cross Club tonight in commemoration of Christopher Columbus's discovery of America on October 12th. 1492. Tho club will be decorated with small American Hags suspended along the sides of the dance floor. Brilliantly-coloured stars will be placed along tho pillars in V for victory formation. The orchestral stand will have tin American ting in the background with glittering stars and the golden numerals 1492 bedecking the front. One of the features of the evening will be a Grand March. Because musical chairs proved to be so popular last week, another set. will bo held tonight. There will also be a prize waltz contest. All girls, who arc members of the American Red Cross dance list arc invited to attend.
