The report gave no details. A previous violation was the Japanese seizure of the British steamer Sian, at Macao, in August, after killing twenty armed guards and policemen. The Tokio radio stated today that the Portuguese Premier, Dr Salazar, and the Japanese Minister, Mr Morishima, conferred in Lisbon on matters relating to Timor.
