SOME ASTONISHING CLAIMS. MADE REGARDING PAST ACHIEVEMENTS (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 10.10 a.m.) LONDON, Ovtober 8. s Field-Marshal Milch, broadcasting on the Berlin radio, claimed that Luftwaffe, in the past few years, had dropped over 35 million bombs and shot down over 61.000 enemy planes. It had also, since the outbreak of war, he said, sunk 6.000.000 tons and damaged 12,000,000 tons of enemy shipping.
