GREYTOWN
OBITUARY MR. H. ADAMSON. (“Times-Age” Special.) The death occurred at Greytown on Sunday of Mr. Herbert Adamson, a highly respected resident, at the age ol 65 years. The late Mr. Adamson, whe was born at Weston, in the South Island, was manager of the Greytown Cheese Factory for eight years and for a number of years was manager of rhe Nireaha factory. He ’took a keen interest in town and district affairs and was a member of the Foresters' and Odd Fellows’ lodges. He was a member of the former South Wairarapa Trotting Club. His wife predeceased him two years ago. Mr. Adamson is survived by two daughters, Mesdames K. A. Gray (Martinborough), E. Ottaway (Wairoa) and two brothers, Messrs G. and A. Adamson, and a sister, Mrs. M. Renton, all of Oamaru. MINIATURE RIFLE CLUB COMPETITION SCORES. TOWN HALL A SPLENDID DRAMA The programme at the Town Hall tonight will be headed by the outstanding drama, “Florian,” a story of the days of Austria before the Great War. Robert Young, Helen Gilbert and Irina Boronova are starred in the picture, which should not be missed by particular patrons.
