CHAMPIONSHIP AND OTHER CONTESTS. ' Yesterday, at the Riverside Golf Club, in the final of the ladies’ intermediate championship, Mrs Brown beat Miss Norman. In the final of the ladies’ bobbin competition, Miss Nancarrow beat Mrs. Wakelin, and in the final of 'the captain’s trophy, Mrs. Rawlins beat Miss J. Dixon. In the bobbin men’s singles, W. Nichol beat G. B. Peterson. The best cards handed in for a Stableford competition were those of N. Hume 37 and R. Wearne 36. NO PLAY ON SATURDAY. On account of rain on Saturday, no competitions were played at the Masterton, Mahunga and Riverside golf clubs’ links.
