ADDITIONAL SENTENCE
ON MAN WHO ESCAPED FROM PRISON CAMP. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) GREYMOUTH, This Day. Jeffrey Corbett, aged 32, who escaped from a prison camp a year ago, and was arrested at Otira last week, was sentenced this morning to 12 months’ imprisonment on the charge of being an incorrigible rogue, in escaping. On four charges of theft at Haupiri, Hastings, New Plymiuth and Okoia, he was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment, cumulative on the other sentence.
