WAIRARAPA SEAT SCRUTINY OF ROLLS. (“Times-Age” Special.) The scrutiny of the rolls for the Wairarapa electorate is well advanced, and should be completed by this evening or Saturday morning. Immediately the scrutiny is completed the official recounting of the ballot papers will be commenced, in the presence of Messrs H. M. B. Trapp and Plummer, who are the scrutineers for Messrs J. J. Maher and Ben Roberts, respectively. Personal. Miss Conner of Wellington, is the guest of Mrs L. McKenna, Pahautea. Gun Dog Championships The Wairarapa Gun Dog Club will hold its annual championships bn the Lake Domain at Featherston on Sunday, October 10. Officials have been appointed as follows: Trials captain, Mr A. Mclvor; judge’s steward, Mr H. Bannister; trap steward, Mr H. J. S. Smith; ground steward, Mr D. F. Andrews; treasurer, Mr D. P. Donald. Judge of championships, Mr R. V. Mason (Masterton); judges of other events, Messrs C. Grey and W. Harding (Masterton). The arrangements at the Featherston end are in charge of Messrs A. Mclvor and W. Nix. There are eight events to be decided and the trophies include the following: Gage Cup (for winner of all breed championship); Pearce Cup (local dog gaining highest, points in open land section); Grey Cup (for clog gaining highest points in open water section); McKenzie Cup (for best Labrador). COSY THEATRE NEW PROGRAMME TONIGHT. A new programme in keeping with the past high standard of entertainment will be shown at the Cosy Theatre tonight
