WAR CASUALTIES
MR STIMSON GIVES AMERICAN FIGURES. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 1.20 p.m.) LONDON, September 30. The United States War Secretary (Mr Stimson) stated in Washington that, excluding Salerno, where there had been, thus far, approximately 3,500 casualties, American war casualties up to September 15, totalled 85,000.
