SPLIT EVACUATED
BY YUGOSLAV FORCES. BUT OFFENSIVE ACTIVELY CONTINUED. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, September 30. A communique broadcast by the Yugoslav radio says: “Our successful offensive has continued in Montenegro and Herzegovina and the province of Sandzak. In Dalmatia, after 15 days’ fighting to avoid encirclement, we evacuated Split with all our war material. We successfully attacked and routed a strong German column in northern Dalmatia.”
