Drenching Rain.
A thick drizzling rain which set in yesterday afternoon developed into a heavy fall last night. Storm water channels were filled to overflowing and in some areas of Masterton parts of the footpaths were inundated. The rivers and creeks in the district are flooded. At Solway nearly an inch and a half of rain was recorded.
