U-BOAT SUNK

IN THE INDIAN OCEAN BY SOUTH AFRICAN AIRCRAFT. TREMENDOUS EXPLOSION SEEN. LONDON, September 27. A Cape Town message re-ports-tlie sinking of a U-boat in the Indian Ocean by the South African Air Force. It was attacked twice in 24 hours. Depth charges were dropped. There was a tremendous explosion and oil was seen on the wafer.
