CABINET CHANGES
ANNOUNCED IN BRITAIN SIR JOHN ANDERSON MADE CHANCELLOR. LORD CRANBORNE BECOMES DOMINIONS SECRETARY (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.25 p.m.) LONDON, September 24. The King has approved the following Cabinet appointments: — Lord President of the Council, Mr C. R. Attlee. Chancellor of the Exchequer, Sir John Anderson. Secretary for the Dominions, Lord Cranborne. Lord Privy Seal, Lord Beaverbrook. Minister of State, Mr Richard Law. Mr Attlee will continue as Deputy Prime Minister and Sir John Anderson will be a member of the War Cabinet. Lord Cranborne will have access to the War Cabinet, both as Dominions Secretary and as Leader of the House of Lords. Mr Law will assist Mr Anthony Eden. Other consequential appointments will bo announced later. Mr R. G. Casey will in future be officially i described as Minister of State, resident in the Middle East.
