The Australian Minister of Supply and Shipping, Mi- Beasley, has announced the arrival in Australia of Mr Percy Rogers, of the British Ministry of War Transport, and Mr John Cushing, of the United States shipping administration, to discuss the position with the Prime Minister, Mr Curtin, states a Canberra message. It is authoritatively stated that the Australian shipping position is being examined to ensure the maximum use being made of tonnage. More large Canadian reinforcements have arrived in Britain, including the largest contingent of Canadian nursing sisters ever to leave Canada.
