VARIOUS TARGETS
IN NORTHERN FRANCE INCLUDING WAR FACTORIES & AIRFIELD. ATTACKED BY ALLIED AIRCRAFT. LONDON, September 21. Allied planes were over Northern France today. Mitchell bombers attacked coke ovens and by-product plants. Aji airfield was also raided. Fighters made offensive sweeps. Three German fighters were knocked out. Three Allied bombers are missing. The crew of one is safe.
