1743-1943
“We hold these truths to be selfevident: that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Hanpiness.” Who and what am I quoting?’ Thomas Jefferson and the Declaration of Independence, one of the great human documents. He also said: “If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation and then by deflation, the corporation that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all their property, until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.” How true! By the simple stroke of a pen or pencil on September 25 you mould the destiny of this land. —Inserted by Donald Thompson.
