The German news agency says German troops in central and, northern Italy found a number of British prisoners of war in camps. The greater part of the prisoners were sent to Germany. So far 25,000 prisoners of war have been seized. “Treacherous Italians,” it is added, “liberated some prisoners, but the majority have been rounded up.”
