REGENT THEATRE
“MEET JOHN DOE.” “Meet John Doe,” which will be shown tonight, is a screen play by Robert Riskin and is the biggest Capra production to date. It is an exceptional film showing the power of the press, the acting is superb and the story is thrilling. Edward Arnold and Walter Brennan have the leading roles. It is as joyous as “It Happened One Night,” as lovable as “Mr Deeds Goes to Town,” and as heart-warming as “You Can’t Take it With You.” “Meet John Doe” is a drama that will make an immediate appeal to those who appreciate only the best.
