CHURCH SERVICES
—4 Special patronal festival services will be conducted by the Ven. Archdeacon Rich at St. Matthew’s Church tomorrow. The Holy Communion will be celebrated at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. and evensong at 7 p.m. Mr J. F. Jaine will preach at Kuripuni at 7 p.m. The usual services will be held at Taueru, Rangitumau and Kopuaranga. Worship and communion will be held by the Church of Christ tomorrow at 1.1 a.m. The Sunday School will meet at 10 a.m. The Rev G. H. Goodman will conduct the services at the Methodist Church tomorrow morning and Mr C. R. Goudge in the evening. The services at Mt. Bruce at 2 p.m. and at Kuripuni at 7 p.m. (Sacrament) will be taken by. Mr Goodman. _ The quarterly communion services at Knox Church tomorrow will be coni ducted by the Rev. David McNeur, the Moderator of the Charge. The usual services will be held tomorrow at the Baptist Church at 11 a.m. and 7 o’clock. The Sunday School and Bible Class will meet at 10 a.m.’ The popular “friendly hour” for visitors and service men will follow the evening service. Salvation Army services will be conducted tomorrow by Major and Mrs Stowe.
