DEATH RATE
LOWER FOR MARRIED PEOPLE. AT ALL AGES ABOVE 25. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) NEW YORK, September 16. Married persons live longer than single ones. New York Health Department records show that the death rate, among married people is lower than single persons at all ages above 25.' The death rate from accidents, alcoholism, homicide, pneumonia, tuberculosis and venereal disease are considerably lower for married men than for single ones. Ten single men in late middle life die from alcoholism against one married man.
