BOWLING

A HAPPY SEASON. The annual report of the Wairarapa Bowling Centre which is signed by Mr Geo. Hayne (president), states:—“We much regret that the various clubs have been unable to see each other more often, but while the benzine restriction continues there is Tittle possibility of a change for the better. In spite of this the past season was a particularly happy one, and we look forward to the coming one with keen anticipation. It was unanimously decided by clubs that there should be no annual meeting last year, and the executive elected the previous year carried on. I have pleasure in recording our particularly happy relations, and express my thanks to the other - members of the executive, Messrs W. F. Stent and H. M. Smith, and trust that our efforts on your behalf have given entire satisfaction.
