PROPOSED BY CANADIAN ' LABOUR UNIONS. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright.) OTTAWA, September The convention of the Canadian Confess of Labour Unions, with a twothirds majority, recommended unions to affiliate witth the Co-operative Commonwealth Federation, which is the third largest political party. It is the first lime in Canadian history that any major union hps recommended political adherence. The resolution explained that organised labour must take political as well as economic action because of the inevitable everenlarging Governmental control over, all aspects of economic life.
