SITTING OF WAIRARAPA BOARD APPEALS AGAINST SERVICE. TWO CASES DISMISSED. The Wairarapa Armed Forces Appeal Board concluded its sitting in Masterton yesterday afternoon. There were present: Messrs R. R. Burridge (chairman), L. T. Daniell and F. Cole (members) and G. F. Whitlock (secretary and Crown representative). In the following cases the name of the person lodging the appeal is given in parentheses:— Appeals dismissed: Charles Porter, carpenter (J. R. Decision was reserved in the case of the following appeals, which, unless otherwise stated were lodged by Transport Wairarapa Ltd.: Athol William Gray, Allan Francis Gray, and R. J. Kilminster, transport drivers; Kenneth John Aplin, transport driver (Director of National Service); Eric Royden Gray, transport driver, and Vivian Royden Maguire, service car driver.
