NAMED BY ADMIRALTY
NEW ZEALAND SUBMARINE COMMANDER. PARTICIPATION IN NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENT. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, September 11. Lieutenant L. E. Herrick, D.S.C., R.N., Hastings, has been named by the Admiralty as one of the 10 submarine commanders who sank two large and four medium ships and also seven other ships in the closing stages of the campaign against Italy.
