AN ELECTION PLEDGE (To the Editor) Sir,—ln a letter published in the “Times-Age” on Saturday, September 11, and signed J. L. Heckler and W. Horne, Mr Robertson, M.P., is reported as having given his solemn undertaking to “withdrawn from the election contest right away” if certain figures which were quoted by Mr Heckler in connection with the Broadcasting accounts were anything like correct. Well, we, the undersigned, who were also present, at the election address given by Mr Robertson at Alfredton, wish to state that Mr Robertson has been misrepresented.
