VICTORY OVER ITALY
SUGGESTION BY MR T. JORDAN TELEGRAM TO PRIME MINISTER In reply to a proposal by the Prime Minister, Mr Fraser, to hold a parade on Saturday in celebration of the victory over Italy, the Mayor, Mr T. Jordan, has sent the following telegram to Mr Fraser: — “Respectfully suggest occasion for public appeal complete patriotic quotas throughout Dominion as practical form of rejoicing and support of fighting services.”
