The death occurred yesterday at Pahiatua of Mrs Eva Adelaide Lyon, wife of Mr W. A. Lyon, of Woodville, at the age of 61 years. The marriage took place at Palmerston North recently of Mr Alexander William Monro, youngest son of Mr and Mrs C. G. Monro, of Masterton to Miss Alison Blondel Seifert, eldest dahghter of Mr and Mrs H. A. Seifert, of Palmerston North.
The engagement is announced of Zona Dorothy, eldest daughter of Mi’ and Mrs C. W. Loader, High Street, Masterton, to Donald A. Crosby, U.S.M.C., only son of Mrs E. Schroeder, Oakland, California, and Mr C. A. Crosby, Stockton. California, U.S.A.
