CHURCH SERVICES
Special thanksgiving services will be held in St. Matthew’s Church tomorrow at 8 a.m., 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. The Ven. Archdeacon E. J. Riph will be the preacher. The Kuripuni services will be at 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Mr N. W. Ninnes will conduct the evening service. The services at the Lansdowne Presbyterian Church tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev. D. McNeur. At Alfredton at 1.30 p.m. tomorrow a memorial service in connection with the late Mr George Napier will bo held. Communion will be celebrated at Eketahuna at 3 p.m. The services at the Baptist Church tomorrow will bo held at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. The subject in the morning will be “Christ Magnified” and in the evening “Launch Out.” The usual “friendly hour” which will follow the evening service, is greatly appreciated by visitors and service men. Major and Mrs Stone will conduct the services at the Salvation Army Citadel tomorrow. The RcV. G. H. Goodman will conduct services at the Methodist Church tomorrow. Services will also be held at Kuripuni and Rangitumau. A Church of Christ service will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. Sunday School will meet at 10 a.m.
