FEATHERSTON COUNTY

MEETING AT MARTINBOROUGH TODAY. AERODROME TO BE BUILT AFTER WAR. (“Times-Age" Special.) The monthly meeting of the Featherston County Council was held at Martinborough today. Mr A. B. Martin presided. A motion of sympathy was passed with Mr A. B. Martin in the death of his father. Mr Ben Roberts and the Prime Minister wrote advising that the matter of a landing place at Martinborough would receive attention after the war. The ranger reported that 132 dogs were registered and 3 cows were impounded and that several dogs were not yet registered. The council decided to take action.
