♦ ' ENTHUSIASTIC RECEPTION. (By Telegraph—Pres? Association.) HAWERA, This Day. The Leader of the National Party, Mr Holland, was given an enthusiastic reception in Hawera last pight, when he addressed electors in the Opera House and a big overflow gathering by means of a loud-speaker. There was a combined attendance of over 1,000, Mr Holland’s speech was on the lines of those previously reported. He was accorded a vote of thanks and the audience gave cheers for the National Party and its leader, and rose to sing “For He’s a Jolly Good Fellow.”
