Accident Case.

Mrs Betsy Oates, aged 55 years, of Waihakeke, Carterton, was admitted to the Masterton Hospital late last night with injuries which she received in a fall from a cycle. Democratic Labour Candidate.

A well-attended meeting, held in Eketahuna last night, was addressed by Aircraftman D. A. Thompson, Democratic Labour candidate for the Masterton seat. Mr H. Daniel presided. The candidate, who outlined his party’s policy and answered a number of questions, was accorded a vote of thanks.
