JAPANESE SHIP
SUNK BY NETHERLANDS SUBMARINE. IN STRAITS OF MALACCA. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 9.50 a.m.) RUGBY, September 7. The Netherlands Admiralty announces that ft Netherlands submarine, operating with the Royal Navy in the South-West Pacific, has sunk a Japanese supply ship of 5,000 tons in the Straits of Malacca, which separate the enemy-occupied territories of the Malay States and Sumatra.
