EUCHRE PARTY IN RED CROSS SOCIETY’S ROOMS. ("Times-Age” Special.) An enjoyable time was spent at the ■Red Cross Society’s rooms yesterday afternoon playing euchre, the winner being Mrs Viles. Competitions were won by Miss Esma Card and Mr D. Holland. Donations were received from Mesdames N. Matthews, C. Edwards, F. Benton, F. Bladen, J. Ell let, Sim, H. Bloxam and Hardy, and Misses Viles, Gooclrick and E. Algie. Personal Items. Word has been received that Sister Edwards, N.Z.A.N.S., has arrived at her overseas destination safe nad well. Mr and Mrs Jackson, Picton. have returned home aftre having been the guests of Mr and Mrs F. Benton. y COSY THEATRE “WINGS AND THE WOMAN.” “Wings and the Woman,” an exciting story of the air, featuring Anna Neagle and Robert Newton, will be shown on Wednesday night. In keeping with the policy to show only me best pictures, the management confidently recommend the current programme.
