AUGUST RAINFALL OVER TWELVE INCHES RECORDED (“Times-Age” Special.) Mr N. Foreman, Te Wharau, reports that 12.31 inches of rain were recorded in August. The heaviest fall was 3.58 inches on August 11. Rain fell on 18 days.
