■ ♦ MR S. G. NAPIER’S FUNERAL LARGE & REPRESENTATIVE ATTENDANCE. (“Times-Age" Special.) There was a large and representative attendance at the funeral at Alfredton yesterday of the late Mr S. G. Napier, a popular resident of the district. Services were conducted by the Rev. D. McNeur and the pall-bearers were Messrs A. McGovern, D. McGovern, B. Napier, S. McKay, and J. McKenzie. Among the many beautiful wreaths were those from the session and management, St. Andrew’s Church, Ek&tahuna; the Eketahuna and Alfredton branches of the Farmers’ Union; the Alfredton Hall Committee, the Alfredton Women’s Institute, the Alfredton Patriotic Institute, the Alfredton Home Guard and Rifle Club and the manager and staff, Levin and Co., Masterton.
