STATE THEATRE
“SEVEN DAYS’ LEAVE.” Victor Mature and Lucille Bali are starred in “Seven Days’ Leave,” which will be shown at the State Theatre tonight. Also appearing in the attraction are a host of stage and screen personalities —Harold Peary, Mary Cores, Benny Simms, Freddy Martin and his orchestra. Les Brown and his orchestra, and Maiw Maguire. Seven great now tunes are heard in this musical production, which is brimful of fun and entertainment The picture relates the hilarious happenings attendant upon the efforts of a young ex-bandster and recent enlistee to win the hand of a society belle and annex a 100,000 dollar inheritance, in a week’s time. Tomorrow’s mid-week programme will contain two excellent Western stories of love and action. The two pictures, “Devil's .Trail,” starring Bill Ellictt, and "Rio Grande,”’ featuring Charles Starrett, will be shown at the matinee tomorrow afternoon.
