Accident Cases.

Mrs M. Wingfield, of 33 Bannister Street, was admitted to the Masterton Hospital this morning with a broken arm which she received when she slipped in a bath. Trevor Herrick, aged 14 years, of Kokotau, Carterton, was admitted to hospital yesterday with an injured elbow. Ho fell off a cartload of hay.

Stewart, Iluawai. would stand as an Independent, and the Labour Party has now selected Mr J. S. Stewart, Wellington, formerly of Auckland, as its candidate. If any confusion is aroused in electors’ minds as to whom they arc voting for, it may be heightened by the fact that Mr P. McG. Stewart was the official Labour candidate for Kaipara in 1938.
