The driving instructor gave the pupil some final hints before he took his car cut alone for the first time. “Now remember,” he said, “go round every corner prepared to meet a bus or semething cn the wrong' side of the road.” A few days later the pupil appeared again, covered with bandages. “Hullo!” said the instructor, ‘had an accident?” Yes,” was the sad reply. ‘I met that damned bus on the corner—but it was on the right side of the road!”
