Maunsell, president of the association, presented the cups and certificates to the winning teams, who were: —Junior, Borthwick's; senior B, Cathie’s A; and senior, Lancers. Mr Maunsell said the game was a healthful sport which fostered the spirit of comradeship. The aid of the men from the branches of the forces in refereeing was commended by Mr Maunsell. Cheers were given for the runnersup in the competition. Lancers, who scored a well deserved win in the senior championship, were runners-up for the three previous seasons.
