HARRIER ACTIVITIES
KIATERE CLUB. SEALED HANDICAP RACES. Under ideal conditions, the members of the Kiatere Harrier Club participated in sealed handicap races last Saturday. The seniors covered a distance of 5 miles, and the juniors 21 miles. The following are the detailed results:—Seniors: J. Maunsell (handicap 3min. 50sec.), 33min. 27sec„ 1; G. Hayes (2.0), 35.16, 2; W. McDonald (scr.), 37.16, 3; C. Summers (3.30), 38.35, 4. Fastest times: W. McDonald. 37.16; G. Hayes, 37.16; J. Maunsell, 37.17. Juniors: Ken Greaves (2.0), 14.32. 1: Allan Pickett (2.20), 15.12, 2; Eric Pickett (3.0), 24.20, 3. Fastest times: Ken Greaves, 16.32; Allan Pickett, 17.32; Eric Pickett, 27.20. Next Saturday the junior 2|-mile championship will be held, commencing at 2.40 p.m. The seniors will hold a training run from the Park Oval.
