OBITUARY
MR A. F. WIREN. (Bv Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The death occurred today of Mr Anders F. Wiren, aged 78. formerly a well-known legal accountant. For many years he was associated \vith the late Sir Charles Skerrett, before the latter became Chief Justice. Mr Wiren took a life-time interest in cricket and Rugby, attaining the highest administrative honours in both. He was an old time Wellington cricket representative and was first societal)' of the Poneke Rugby Club, MR WILLIAM DUNCAN, MEMBER OF WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Mr William Duncan, who died suddenly this morning at the age of 66, had for some years past been a member of the City Council. He was formerly a well-known business man. For many years he was actively interested in administration of the affairs of Association football and also in the activities of the Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club,
