The Waingawa Sub-Station, P.W.D., reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. yesterday:—Shade temperature, maximum 50.5, minimum 31.5; terrestrial, 22; sunshine, 4 hours 54 min ; utes; frost, 8.4 degrees. The Waingawa Sub-Station reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today: Shade temperature, maximum 49, minimum 39; terrestrial, 23; rain, 9 points; frost, 7.4 degrees. PHASES OF THE MOON.
