The Public Works Department forwarded its approval of the tender of Messrs Reid Bros, for the construction of McLellan's culvert on Wingate’s Road, Alfredton. A resolution striking the general rate for the current year of 3.‘d in the pound was passed. Rates are due on September 1 and a rebate of 4 per cent on all general rates paid within one month of clue date is to be granted this year. Personal Items.
