The following casualties in the Second N.Z.E.F. were announced yesterday:— KILLED IN ACTION—PREVIOUSLY REPORTED MISSING. McKINNON, Alexander, Pte.; Wallsend, England. KILLED IN ACTION—PREVIOUSLY REPORTED MISSING, BELIEVED PRISONER OF WAR. McCUTCHEON, John F„ Pte.; Greenmeadows. KILLED ACCIDENTALLY. McCOWAN, Jack W„ Lieut.; Epsom. DIED OF WOUNDS—PREVIOUSLY REPORTED WOUNDED & MISSING. TULLY, Thomas J., Pie.; Rakaia. MISSING. WINTERBOURN, Jack, Spr.; Timaru. AIR CASUALTIES NEW ZEALAND PERSONNEL. The following New Zealand air personnel serving overseas have been reported as casualties: —

EADY, Vivian R., Flying Officer, missing on air operations; Auckland. KNOX. Ewen S-, Flight Lieutenant, R.A.F., missing, believed killed on active service; Ashburton. LANKSHEAR, William C„ Sgt., missing on air operations; Levin. LORNIE, Ronald W., F/Sgt., missing on air operations; Auckland. McDOUGALL, John R., Sgt., missing on air operations; Invercargill. RUTHERFORD. Wilfred O„ Flight Lieutenant, missing on air operations; Christchurch. SCOTT, Desmond F„ Sgt., missing on air operations; Wellington. SMITH, Lisle G., Sgt., missing on air operations; Taumarunui. GUILD, Colin T„ Flying Officer, killed on active service; Christchurch. Reclassification. O’DONNELL, David K„ Flying Officer, previously reported missing, death now officially presumed as in January, 1943; Wanganui.
