New war savings group certificates will be available shortly for presentation to firms with over 80 per cent of their staffs contributing regularlythrough war savings groups. The official figures of killings for the present season at the Dominion’s freezing works from October 1 to July 31, show that lamb killings now total 10,957,246 carcases, compared with 11,061,953 carcases up till August last season. Wether mutton killings are 609,450 carcases, and ewe mutton 1,713,485 carcases, compared with 757,039 and 1,961,528 carcases, respectively, last season. Frozen beef production has reached 560,539 quarters, compared with 628,107 quarters last season. Druids’ Lodge, At the quarterly meeting of Stonehenge Lodge of Druids, held in the Orange Hall, A.D.
