NURSING PROFESSION

APPEAL FOR MORE RECRUITS. DISTRICT CAMPAIGN OPENED. The New Zealand Registered Nurses’ Association has organised a campaign for recruitment of pupil nurses throughout the Dominion, to bring before young women, the scope offered by the profession of nursing. The Wairarapa branch of the association is opening its campaign today by displaying at Messrs Hugo and Shearers, dolls dressed in period uniforms representing the history of nursing. Supporting this display there will be photos relating to the history of the Masterton Hospital, showing the local progress of the profession in this district.
