LATE RATES MAINTAINED FOR SHEEP. There was a fair yarding of fat sheep at the Masterton stock sale today. Prices were on a par with last week’s values. Values for opening sales were: —Fat wethers, 35s 6d, 38s 7d; light fat wethers, 295, 30s 6d, 32s 9d; prime fat ewes, 27s 6d; light fat ewes, 21s, 235; shorn fat ewes, 18s 2d; prime fat hoggets, 255; light fat hoggets, 18s Id to 20s Id.
